Dr. Jose Polanco, Chair, currently serves as the Chief of Primary Care at the Providence VA Medical Center. With extensive experience in primary and ambulatory care, Dr. Polanco has held leadership roles across Rhode Island’s healthcare landscape, including medical director and chief medical officer positions in both private and public health sectors. A passionate educator, he has taught at Brown University’s Alpert Medical School for over 20 years and is also the host of a call-in radio program for the Latino community on Poder 1110, where he discusses general health topics.
