Despite lawsuit, plans for De La Comunidad move forward

PAWTUCKET – A lawsuit has been filed by the cities of Pawtucket and Cranston against the Council on Elementary and Secondary Education, Education Commissioner Angelica Infante-Green, and the city of Providence for approving a multidistrict charter school.

However, plans for the new De La Comunidad Bilingual Charter School (DLC-B) are still moving along, as charter school enrollment waitlists grow across Rhode Island…
