Alexis Cellars

Alexis joined Rhode Island Education Collective to help stakeholders use research-based practices to make informed decisions around education. Her passion for research, ignited during her participation in a trial at the American Institute for Research, drives her excitement to continue building her skills in her new position at the Collective.
Most recently, Alexis was a graduate student at Brown University where she earned an M.A. in Urban Education Policy. She completed her undergraduate degree at Providence College with a major in Elementary and Special Education. Alexis began her career in the classroom, teaching students in grades K through seven.
